Data, Information, Content

The core content/data of this mobile optimized website will include (1) multimedia and text-based data on the historical, cultural and spiritual significance of the key landmarks that are identified as so by the Wanuskewin interpretive team, that partners with elders, Knowledge Keepers, and Indigenous Educators (2) archival data related to bison conservation housed in Canadian Museum of History (3) multimedia and text-based content already existing within local institutions (e.g., Tourism Saskatchewan, Parks Canada).

Our Partners

We are collaborating with the following organizations at various levels and capacities to deliver a unique experience to you:

  1. Wanuskewin, as our primary partner, will provide access to their existing digital infrastructure, which we will supplement.
  2. Parks Canada, an already established partner for nationwide bison conservation and reintroduction projects, is a resource for existing multimedia content and a connection for further information on bison conservation.
  3. The Canadian Museum of History will supplement existing multimedia content and educational materials.
  4. Tourism Saskatchewan and local visitors boards will provide access to existing multimedia content.
